At Daily Korean, we value your privacy above all else. We design our software to utilize minimal data collections, ensuring that your study progress can be tracked seamlessly without compromising your personal details.

2. Local Storage & Cookies

To allow friction-free study without forcing signups, Daily Korean supports a local **Guest Mode**.

• Guest Caching: All progress data, vocabulary lists, and study streaks in Guest Mode are saved strictly on your local device via localStorage (key: dk_guest). This information never touches our servers.
• Cookie-Free Sessions: For signed-up users, cookies are used solely to store secure encrypted session tokens. We do not use third-party tracking cookies or ad networks.

3. No Third-Party AI Data Sharing

Daily Korean does not transmit, share, or process your vocabulary lists, progress data, or learning metrics with any third-party AI services or large language model providers (such as the Google Gemini API).

To ensure the highest privacy standard and keep the application entirely cost-free to run, all reading drills, study prompts, and exercises are processed locally on your device or via our self-hosted servers without external AI involvement.

4. In-App Analytics

We use a completely self-hosted, first-party analytics system to log general application metrics (such as daily active visitors, quiz attempts, and feature utilization). No IP addresses or advertising identifiers are tracked. All analytics logs are stored in our secure database for our team to improve the app.
